RenderMan
Gloster Gladiator
One of the first RenderMan projects on the MSc at the NCCA, was to create a model of any object or scene using only basic RenderMan primitives, for example, spheres, cones and cylinders. The RIB file had to be hand-coded and it was not necessary to provide shaders for the model. I chose to model a Gloster Gladiator bi-plane.
The image below shows a Gloster Gladiator.
The large image accessed from the link below, shows an image of the rendered Gloster Gladiator model. Although it looks quite basic, the RIB file is over eight hundred lines long.
